Though I’ve been to Los Angeles several times, this trip was by far the best experience yet! A few of my good friends that I went to Brooks with live in an amazing loft in the jewelry district of downtown LA. One of these friends is Zach Ramey, my guy bridesmaid and bff! After staying with him for a week, I really got the feel of what it would be like to live in the big city. He showed me that his apartment had an amazing rooftop with a pool and a hot tub with a great view of the city. It was breathtaking and I knew right off that I wanted to do a shoot while I was there. Zach introduced me to his good friend Maggie SanFilippo who is a stylist and my new friend <3 We bonded instantly and I knew she had to be a part of my shoot. (As well as come to my wedding!)

The next question was where are we going to get models. Ironically I got a message that my photographer friend, Leigh Ann, from Alabama was also in LA. She also let me know that the model/actress, Chriselle Almeida, that we photographed in NY last summer had just moved to LA! I sent her a message about doing a session together and she said she would love too and she would love to bring her friend, Maggie Colburn, also an actress/model.

Since we are all freelancers I thought we could work together to build our portfolios and I’m so glad we did because I love how everything turned out! Take a look for yourself… and remember these stunning women because they are strong up and coming actresses.
