Pleasant Grove, AL – A place I had never been before this wedding, but the name does it justice. Chris and Kristy were such a beautiful couple filled with love from head to toe, literary. Kristy had all her friends and family sign the bottom of her fabulous shoes to wish her luck on her big day. Their wedding was huge including their wedding party of 18! I decided to take them all out in the church lawn with a vintage couch and chairs to create a more relaxed pose. I think the bride and groom were just happy to finally be sitting. The weather was perfect for the photos, but it poured later that day. Several cultures believe it is lucky to rain on your wedding day. Since marriage is often referred to as tying the knot, it is believed that if the knot becomes wet it is impossible to untie.
