I was so excited to get a call from the owners at Oak Island for a last minute wedding planned for a very special couple. I usually meet and get to know most of my couples before their wedding, but I met these two love birds the day they said I do.  Elizabeth and Josh also decided at the last minute that they wanted to see each other before their ceremony. It was the most touching first look I’ve ever photographed. Josh looked so dapper in his uniform and when he first saw Elizabeth he was so overwhelmed he began to cry and hold her like he was never going to let her go. I felt so privileged documenting this intimate moment as well as their entire day of love. Thank you Josh+Elizabeth for such an amazing time.

 Josh and his mother were both crying during their mother/son dance that there weren’t many dry eyes watching. It made photographing them a little more challenging too!
